Music Collections on CD
Thanks to your support and encouragement, the project to create recordings and keyboard scores from the simple lead sheets is underway. If you are skilled at arranging or recording and believe in the value that these simple songs can bring to New Thought congregations everywhere, please e-mail Jeanne at SongsForYourSpirit@new.rr.com. Collaborators like you are needed to complete the collection. Meanwhile, check out the first three books available now!
As a Minister or Spiritual Leader you will find in these songbooks the lyrics of transformational music, lyrics which support your message and may even provide the idea and framework for the next message. Many of the songs in the series were written from ministers' notes in order to "be the message" in song for the week.
As a Music Minister you will find:
- Catchy melodies in keys that the average singer can perform
- Easy-to-play piano arrangements formatted to minimize page turns
- Simple harmonies that are easily embellished by the improvisation artist
- Lead sheets in guitar-friendly keys
- A suggested use index to guide selection based on your need for a congregation, group, or solo piece
Each songbook will be distributed on a 2-CD set. One CD will contain complete recordings and background tracks. The other will be a data CD for your computer. On it you will find:
- Printer-ready keyboard and lead sheet versions of the book with permission to print a copy of each (extra copies can be licensed for an additional fee)
- Lyrics with permission to print unlimited copies or project onto a screen
- Lyrics that are searchable for quick locating of a word or phrase to match the message
- Interactive index with links to lyrics, recordings, background tracks, lead sheets, and keyboard arrangements
It is my hope that this electronic distribution will permit each of you to print and bind in the format which you prefer, expedite delivery of the materials to you, keep costs down, and provide an electronic, searchable resource for spiritual leaders and music ministers.
