What will you bring with you into 2011?

Not at all a fan of New Year's resolutions, I am working with other ways of marking this moment in time. While any moment, any day, can be (and perhaps, ideally IS) a day for reflection, release, redirection, intention, this year I am gifted with 11 days away from my Lawrence job, a vacation to Florida, and a deep awareness that this time is for rest, ending, and beginning.

So, I breathe into the moment and ask to be given the questions that will guide me forward.

The Golden Rule – with a twist!

And it is Christmas Eve, 2010. Three years ago, I wrote an article for a local magazine entitled:

You know the rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” The twist, as you can read about, suggests that we “Do unto ourselves as we do unto others.”

Why write about this today? Isn't it the season for giving, sharing, and focusing on others?
